SCI 100 - Science Introductory Seminar

This course is designed to orient the student to the Liberal Arts and Sciences: Science (LAX) curriculum and prepare the student for his/her science course work. The student will be introduced to the information gathering process and its tools. The scientific paper and the laboratory report will be emphasized by activities including research, the evaluation of that research and the performance of presentations. Topics will be selected by section from biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, and environmental science.
