ART 147 - Graphic Design: Digital Illustration Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 This course is an introduction to vector and raster illustration graphics used in illustration design applications such as logos, posters, publications, infographics, packaging, signage, technical illustrations, diagrams, packaging, signage, editorial, technical, and sequential narrative-based storytelling.. Using Adobe Illustrator CC and Adobe Photoshop CC, students explore conceptual solutions while working with lines, shapes, paths, fills, shading, textures, brushes, and layers in various graphic explorations and the development of an illustrative style.. A final portfolio will be submitted. Notes: A familiarity with the MAC platform is recommended before taking this course. Prerequisite(s): None
