HIS 210 - The Holocaust in History Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course examines the political, social, economic, intellectual and religious sources of the Holocaust, traces its course, and analyzes the way in which it has been interpreted by different nations and historians. Special attention is given to the history of European anti-semitism, the relationship among Nazi ideology, Hitler and the Holocaust, stages of the ‘Final Solution’, Jewish resistance, behavior of other nations and the meaning of the Holocaust for the present and future.
