HIS 108 - History of World Civilizations Since 1700 Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 HIS 107 is a survey of the major political, social and cultural developments of the Latin American, Asian, African, European and Middle Eastern civilizations. The course attempts to place historical events, customs and cultures in a global context, and surveys the major ideas and events that shaped the values of the different world cultures and their institutions from 1500 to the present.
