ENG 229 - Literature of the Hudson River Valley Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 The Hudson River Valley has produced a rich body of literature which includes poetry, nonfiction, short fiction and novels. Students will read selected works from this literature, including fiction by Cooper, Irving, T.C. Boyle, William Kennedy and non-fiction works by landscape painters, landscape artists, naturalists and travelers in the region. Prerequisite(s): ENG 102
