ECO 224 - International Economics Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course will provide students with a comprehensive exposition of the basic principles of international economics. The focus will be on the principle of comparative advantage and gains from trade, protectionism, the balance of payments, exchange rate determination, international capital markets and the international trade policy. The course will also address international economic problems and issues facing the United States and the world in the 21st century. Notes: It is recommended that students take ECO 202 and ECO 203 before taking ECO 224.
