ECO 121 - Environmental Economics Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course examines the key environmental issues facing our planet using basic tools of economic analysis. Although the perspective is global, an emphasis is placed on the disproportionate impact of environmental challenges on the developing world. The course examines pollution, population growth, climate change, water scarcity, international trade, food and resource availability, and policies of sustainable development.
