CRJ 261 - White Collar Crime Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course will explore both the substantive crimes of `white collar’ workers as well as investigative techniques related to these types of crime. The course will emphasize the key characteristics of economic/white collar crime, including the extent of seriousness, types of offenses and offenders, victim concerns and organized efforts to control and prevent these crimes. Case preparation for prosecution and presentation will engage the judicial process. Prerequisite(s): CRJ 141 or permission of the department
