ACC 101 - Principles of Financial Accounting I Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 The primary purpose of this course is to enable students to analyze, record, classify, summarize, and interpret accounting data. Topics include: the accounting equation; accounting statements and reports prepared according to generally accepted accounting principles; the accounting cycle; deferrals and accruals; accounting for merchandising businesses, and inventories. This course is not intended for Business Administration-Transfer students.
